Chozen Voices began with a single guiding belief - every person matters, and every story deserves to be heard. My journey serving San Bernardino County families started in 2007, when I stepped into the human services field as a Clinical Advocacy Specialist. Over nearly twenty years, I have stood beside children, adults, and families facing complicated social systems and urgent challenges, determined to help them find dignity, resources, and hope. My formal training in Criminal and Administrative Justice laid a strong foundation, and certifications in areas like STRTP administration, trauma-informed care, and mandated reporting give me the tools to support families safely and effectively. As a foster parent, I have witnessed the real-life complexities families navigate. These experiences shaped my vision for Chozen Voices - a place where advocacy goes beyond paperwork and families find real support in moments of uncertainty. By combining my professional credentials and heartfelt commitment, I created an organization dedicated to bridging the gaps between vulnerable families and the systems meant to serve them. Every step, every decision, centers on empowering those who need it most.

Chozen Voices in San Bernardino County is a nonprofit organization led by Liliamara Marzette, a Clinical Advocacy Specialist with nearly twenty years of professional experience. The work is strengthened by advanced certifications in trauma-informed care, STRTP administration, and health safety - providing each family with advocacy guided by deep expertise and a strong foundation of legal and clinical compliance.
Whole-Person Care
A whole-person advocacy approach sets this organization apart. Rather than simply offering resources, families receive caring guidance through complex healthcare, legal, and social service systems - including Medi-Cal enrollment. The team ensures each step is explained in clear, jargon-free language so every client feels empowered, respected, and equipped to move forward without barriers.

As a certified Notary Public, foster parent, and clinical advocate, Liliamara combines operational excellence with personal empathy, ensuring each family is met with understanding as well as practical help. Her skills in safety training, case management, and community education are matched by a deep faith in every person's worth. Liliamara's dedication to eliminating barriers, expanding access, and building trusted community partnerships drives the mission of Chozen Voices.
